[00:01:53] Speaker A: Over in the mainstream world of exchanges, the ice machine is in the perfect place to steer CATT features to a new home from the underbelly of Chicago's largest markets. Will it prove to be a new stampede in product management? Looking to that movement, STK stake is also coming soon alongside Cow, MOO and SAO futures. Anyone who spotted the lean mean Ice management team clearly can be in no doubt they consume a lot of protein. Now the world's best managed broad portfolio of exchange traded assets are taking their client centric hyper focus and going after what has long been a traditional Chicago heartland trading places in the meat markets Coming soon. Meanwhile, CME tried to party poop on a very successful 2026 LME Metals Week with a new tungsten futures announcement. Back at the nse, they and SEBOE have announced new opening hours this week for their options, slightly extending the trading day. The new ASX CEO is vying to fight harder to win large floats after a problem with a company called Firmus which didn't make it to markets largely as a result of private equity being somewhat more voracious than the public markets were willing to price at. At the same time, ASX continues to show signs of life under new CEO Anthony Attia. The problem is the fetid hangover from past Legions of incompetence continue to haunt the once excellent antipodean market struct London Soak Exchange and NSE ix. That's the gift. IFSC based NSE International Variant agreed a Memorandum of understanding to strengthen strategic collaboration and Hong Kong exchanges have set a roadmap for the T1 transition in the securities market to the second half of 2028. Meanwhile, in product news, the CME Group have expanded their dairy business with new European features and options. Vietnam is planning index options for next year after a FTSE upgrade. And that leaves us, ladies and gentlemen, with a very exciting week in Big World where Adolf Hitler's order was willfully ignored by General von Choltitz as the Nazis crumbled. It appears that since the 1960s the French have been eager to fulfill Adolf's desire. Is Paris Burning the 1966 movie depicting the 1940 liberation may yet be due for a remake in 2026 as President Macron maintains his performative Ukrainian support while he cowers under a desk somewhere amidst the Fifth Republic and it has left him somewhat of a passenger even as he remains in office. Or as John Holtzman memorably remarked recently, I had no regard for President Macron and somehow it has gone lower with uber left wing Jean Luc Melancholy La France Insomise seeking to ensure a second round runoff place behind the current leader for the presidency, Marine Le Pen. The sheer economic illiteracy of the leading candidates affects not only France, but Europe as a whole. How can the EU be viable under President Le Pen, let alone the other ramifications of the upcoming electoral cycle? And on that bombshell, ladies and gentlemen, on that mysterious and magnificent note, thank you for listening to this EI weekly podcast number 368.
